Cheer on the Chicago Marathon in Greektown

The Chicago Marathon is just around the corner, on October 7th, Greektown Chicago invites you to cheer on Windy City runners. Snag a prime viewing spot in the neighborhood as participants hit mile 17 on Halsted Street. Greek culture and heritage will be on proud display, where Greek delicacies can be found at numerous restaurants along the race route.

Traditional Greek cuisine is full of protein and carbohydrates–both key for a successful race. Runners can indulge in some pre-race carb-loading at well-known Greektown restaurants, like Greek Islands, Santorini and Athena.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for details about a special neighborhood event taking place during the Chicago Marathon.
