Al Fresco Dining In Greektown

Al Fresco Dining In Greektown:

It’s June in Chicago and with that, al fresco dining season has officially arrived! Whether it’s on a patio, sidewalk or rooftop, Chicagoans come out of the woodwork in the summer to enjoy outdoor seating throughout the city. Greektown has something for everyone from Athena’s newly launched outdoor patio to Pegasus’ popular veranda. Greektown invites its neighbors to enjoy all that the diverse community has to offer, including:

  • Athena (212 S. Halsted): From Athena’s outdoor patio to retractable roof, the restaurant can seat nearly 300 guests outside during summer months, making it one of the largest (if not the largest) outdoor seating areas in all of Chicago.
  • Santorini (800 W. Adams): Officially open for the season, Santorini’s sidewalk seating is the perfect place to grab a light seafood dinner after work.
  • Greek Islands (200 S. Halsted): Also newly opened for the season, Greek Island’s sidewalk seating is open daily.

Pegasus (130 S. Halsted): Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the 120-seat rooftop veranda offers guests views of the Chicago skyline. Open 4pm daily, mezethes (small plates designed for sharing), are available in lieu of the regular menu.
