Ancient Greek coins repatriated in Greektown

51 ancient Greek coins were returned to Greece after being seized while on transit through the O’Hare Airport cargo facility in 2022. The repatriation took place this month at Greektown’s very own National Hellenic Museum with Greek Ambassador to the United States, Alexandra Papadopoulou, the Consulate General of Greece in Chicago and the Department of Homeland Security.
