Butterfly Ribbon Cutting
Everyone was aflutter for the opening of Greektown’s newest public art exhibition, The Dance of Psyche, which consists of 26 vibrant three-dimensional sculptures of butterflies that showcased the creativity of 13 professional or emerging artists, 2 Chicagoland high schools, and 11 local Greek language schools. 34th Ward Alderman Bill Conway, Greektown Chicago Commissioners and Representatives from the Greektown Educational Foundation as well as other honored guests all attended to see the butterfly reveal.
The exhibition will be on display along Greektown’s strip of Halsted, so make sure to stop and see the butterflies when you come down for dinner!
