Fill up on full moon cookies – we’ve got the recipe!

One of the biggest festivals in Greece in August is the Full Moon Festival. The brightest full moon of the year occurred on August 1 this year and a common delicacy made around the August moon are Kourabiedes cookies. Even though the full moon has passed, it’s never a bad time to make cookies!

These Greek butter cookies are packed with flavors like fresh butter, roasted almonds, and the traditional cookies are topped with powdered sugar. Though, dipped in chocolate or topped with pistachios isn’t a bad alternative.
