Greektown Construction Update

The Monroe Street bridge construction is well underway, which affects roads in Greektown. As a part of the overall Jane Byrne Interchange reconstruction project, ramp closures affecting the Greektown neighborhood include Madison St. Entrance ramp, Adams St. Exit ramp, and Adams St. Entrance ramp which will all be closed. Details about the duration and dates of each closure can be found below.

• Sunday June 10-August 9 // Madison St. Entrance ramp to southbound I-90/94 will be fully closed until Aug 9.
• Friday June 15-August // Adams St. Exit ramp from southbound I-90/94 will be fully closed until August.
• Friday June 15-July 16 // Adams St. Entrance ramp to northbound I-90/94 will be closed until July 16.

This ongoing construction will enhance Greektown, as the project is committed to improving safety and traffic flow and mobility for motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians and transit users in surrounding neighborhoods.
