Elea Mediterranean Food Market has brought fresh foods and Greek delicacies to the Greektown area for 7 years this coming August. Store manager Nia Tsamis’ favorite part of Greektown is the rich culture and history behind the neighborhood and the delicious food. She says the neighborhood prides itself on welcoming all cultures to the area, no matter what ethnicity. Some of Elea’s best-sellers are their barrel-aged feta, homemade spreads and sandwiches. While not spending her free time at Elea, Nia likes to enjoy homemade pastitiso with family and friends.
