Hello Helios! art activity for kids

In celebration of Greektown’s Hello Helios! public art exhibit, we’re encouraging kids (and the young at heart) to join in the fun and create sun-themed art at home. Download the Hello Helios! coloring sheet HERE and visit the exhibit in Greektown for inspiration.

Make sure to check out the window display of kids’ sun art at 314 S. Halsted Street, organized by Greektown SSA Commissioner Maria Mitchell Tsourapas’ son Peter Tsourapas and nephew James Mitchell (pictured above) and featuring original artworks from friends, neighbors and Chicagoland youth from Saint Ignatius College Prep, James B. McPherson Elementary School and area Greek schools. Titled ”Greece is the sunniest place on Earth” in honor of the Hello Helios! exhibit, the joyful artworks are sure to brighten your day!

Let’s Get Social: Post your kids’ sun-themed artworks on social media with the tag #HelloHelios for a chance to be featured on Greektown Chicago’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages later this year!

The available space at 314 S. Halsted Street is 5600 square feet divisible in half, with full basement.
