Honoring Leo Louchios
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of the Chicago Greektown Educational Foundation founder, Leo Louchios. Born in Cyprus, Leo found his second home on North Halsted Street after being forced to leave Cyprus due to domestic conflict at the time. Leo became a true pillar of the Greek community, being a driving force behind the foundation’s mission of enhancing Greek education in the Chicagoland area. He played a role in various Greektown projects from the beautification of the community to the organization of Taste of Greektown. May his memory be eternal. Αιώνια του η μνήμη.
