Merry Christopsomo!

Katerina’s Kouzina never disappoints! Especially her Christopsomo Greek Christmas Bread. This recipe will challenge your baking skills but will be worth it in the end when that beautiful brown loaf of nutty goodness emerges.

There’s a special history that comes with this bread. Christopsomo literally translates to “Christ’s Bread”. It is a tradition that dates back thousands of years ago. It’s even considered sacred in Greece because making this bread is seen as making an offering of love and care to Christ.

And the best part is, there’s no perfect way of forming it. Families used to make it in the symbols of their households. But no matter if you form your loaf into a symbol of your household (a cross, a clump…a computer) this traditional recipe will bring smiles to everyone this holiday season!
