Taste of Greektown 2019
Taste of Greektown is quickly approaching! This year marks the 30th festival, which annually highlights Hellenic pride, Greek food and a variety of entertainment in the neighborhood. From Friday, Aug. 23 to Sunday, Aug. 25, Halsted Street between Van Buren Street and Adams Street will be lined with food vendors from participating Greektown restaurants such as Athena, 9 Muses, Spectrum and more. Festival-goers can participate in the annual gyro eating contest, listen to music from local band, Sixteen Candles, and watch additional performances from the Jesse White Tumbling Team and Orpheus, an authentic Greek dance troupe.
