Thank you to all who attended our Taste of Greektown festival for its 32nd year – what a blast!
Thank you to all who attended our special cheer event for the 2022 Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 9. The event was completely free and attendees were able to celebrate and cheer as marathon runners passed through Greektown at Miles 14 and 17.
The energy was lively and upbeat as our community celebrated the ancient Greek origins of the marathon. Kids and adults alike made signs for their favorite runners at our tent. Folks grabbed complimentary coffee and Greek pastries from our station and enjoyed Greek and American music by DJ Yianni. Greektown was bustling as spectators gathered for breakfast and lunch after cheering on their family and friends.
What a wonderful day in our city – we are so thankful to those who chose to spend it in Greektown!
