Upcoming Greektown Summer Art Exhibit

Our annual summer art exhibits will return this summer! We can’t spoil the surprise just yet, but based on past years, we know the sculptures are going to look great.

We’ve seen everything from vibrant suns to music instruments in our art exhibits. Greektown’s vibrant outdoor art exhibit Hello Helios! The warming suns of Chicago’s Greektown presented colorful sun sculpture artworks along Halsted to greet the summer sunshine. Last year was My Painted Lyre: Seeing music in Chicago’s Greektown, with vibrant three-dimensional works celebrating music with personal interpretations of the “lyre,” an ancient Greek instrument reimagined in a modern-style sculpture.

Greektown’s outdoor public art exhibitions are painted by a diverse group of Chicago artists. Over 20 three-dimensional sculptures will line Halsted Street in the summer and will be there for the next year.

Keep a lookout in upcoming newsletters for our new art exhibit reveal!
